VETERAN QUILTS

VETERAN QUILTS: I think these are the first 2 veteran quilts that I was knowingly connected with. The note in my scrapbook says, "..volunteer group nationwide has started making lap size quilts for the wounded soldiers coming back from Iraq/Afghanistan. I personally think this is a very important thing to do - I am opposed to the politics of this war, but have no issue with our troops..." I picked out the fabrics and they were machine quilted by RLM. Given thru the local quilt guild in Feb. 2002.
