TOILE 4 PATCH
TOILE 4 PATCH: I pieced this quilt during 2008-2009 from old looking and actual reproduction fabrics. The toile is a yellow background with red houses and people figures. The quilt was inspired by a quilt by Martha Washington in 1785 (as pictured on page 45 of Quilts of Virginia 1607-1899). The quilt is 74" x 92". It is very busy, but has a very old fashioned look to it. Machine quilted by RLM. (#549)
