PANSY SAMPLER (Handquilted)
PANSY SAMPLER: The blocks were pieced by various members of the local quilt guild in Indiana during July and August of 1997. It was hand quilted during Sept. 1997 - April 1998 mostly by myself, but there was also a quilting bee for a few hours that involved JN, HD, KD, and CB. It earned a first place ribbon at the local fair in 1999. Size is 84" x 98". Cotton fabrics for top and backing with poly batting. Each block had a piece of the same pansy fabric. (#221)
