SILK WHOLE CLOTH WALL HANGING: Finished size is 23" x 35". The top is silk with poly batting and cotton backing. I free hand drew the design of stars, feathers, and circles. I love handquilting. (#269)
This is one of those recycled projects. I handquilted this as the front part of a quilted petticoat for colonial re-enacting, and then changed my mind. So in 2000, I cut the petticoat apart, bound this and it hangs in the hallway. I love the shade of blue, which also changes some depending on how the light hits it.
