GRANNY'S BOOTS
GRANNY'S BOOTS: This was an ugly fabric challenge at the local quilt guild. I pieced and machine appliqued this in 1997, and had it machine quilted in July 2000 by MG. I only had the top done for the challenge - the ugly fabric really was uninspiring and I lost interest in this quick. There are actual buttons on each boot, since this style of boots had buttons. It is dedicated to my wonderful grandma, RMG (1913 - 96), who set the example that you do not have to be like everybody else - God made you an individual. I miss her more than I can say, but thank the Lord for the many years I had her in my life. The finished size is 20" x 30". (#189)
