I had a chance to send any finished quilts with a local church that was collecting items to go to Joplin, Missouri to help the tornado victims. I sent 5 quilts (3 baby/toddler size and 2 lap size). What a wonderful feeling to be able to help others this way. Personally, I would rather help this way through a local group and know the items get where they are intended. Just wish there had been more quilts ready to go.
