STARS PLUS A STRAY ONE
STARS PLUS A STRAY ONE - This is a fun pattern, and another one supplied by my quilting buddy SB, who lives in Maine. I pieced this quilt in 2006 - 2008 in Maine and Indiana. It was machine quilted by RLM in 2008. I like blue and yellow and used a variety of scraps and purchased fabrics for this one. I was visiting in Maine in 2006 and got a good start on this one before heading back to IN. Finished size is 87" x 86". The stray star is a star applique that just seemed to belong on this quilt. UNTITLED
48 HOUR MYSTERY QUILT
48 HOUR MYSTERY QUILT - Pieced in Maine and Indiana during 2006 - 07. My quilting buddy, SB, picked out the pattern and told me how much fabric to bring. Another quilting friend ,CL, from downstate Maine joined us for those couple days, so there are 3 similiar quilts floating around. (Ladies, remember the bat the second morning?) We did not discuss fabric choices ahead of time, and yet we all brought batiks to work with. Anyway, I completed the center part while up there and added the pieced border when I got back home. It was machine quilted by RLM in 2008. Finished size is 84" x 68". Given to family member for Christmas 2008. (#441)
DUTCHMAN'S PUZZLE
DUTCHMAN'S PUZZLE - I pieced this in June 1993 in Montana, and it was machine quilted by BE in 1993. It is done in black, pinks, and greens. Finished size is 70" x 46". Gift to family member who likes pink and green. (#120)
I attended the class of this teacher that taught this method of making flying geese blocks. The author/teacher put this quilt in the book that she was teaching the method for. Fun experience.

CHALLENGE 1998
CHALLENGE 1998: I pieced this one in Jan. 1998 and had it machine quilted in Feb. 1998 by MG. The Jinny Beyer border print was the challenge fabric for the local quilt guild. I wanted to keep it simple so you actually saw the border print, so making a strippy quilt with it was my answer. It is 33" x 36". (#206)
