QUILTING IN THE COUNTRY (Part 3)

I ran across these photos and thought I would share.....On Aug. 26, 1995 I was privileged to be able to spend the day at Quilting in the Country at Bozeman, MT. What a fun show !! It's impossible to beat the view of Rocky Mountains and also be surrounded by beautiful quilts at an outdoor show. There is no rhyme or reason to the quilt photos, simply ones I liked. The website is: https://www.quiltinginthecountry.com/

CATCHING UP.....OR RUNNING BEHIND.......

My apologies for being so long between posts. It is not that I have not been quilting, simply that routine life has been so time consuming. In November 2016, my mom died after a many years long struggle with a terminal illness. In 2016, I made many trips to my sister's place out of state to help with mom - this required changing jobs so that I could work from home (or on the computer as I traveled). As stuff was divided up after mom's death, I ended up with all the photos, letters, and family documents (I am the family historian). I have spent every possible minute of the last few months going thru tubs of photos and papers trying to organize it so we knew what there was. It has been emotionally hard, not to mention time consuming, but I am starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. In the meantime, quilting continues to comfort and soothe my life.
