VETERAN QUILTS
VETERAN QUILTS:
These 7 lap quilts were made to be given out to hospitalized veterans by Christians Serving Veterans (CSV). These heroes paid a high price to defend my freedoms and I wish I could honor them more. Given in July 2015. The quilts are basically a size (approx. 45" x 60") that can be used as a lap quilt for wheelchair bound or bed bound veterans. Thank you to all our vets for your service.
BOYS MISSION HOME QUILTS (20)
BOYS MISSION HOME QUILTS:
The teen girls at church were asked to do 20 twin bunk size quilts back in Jan. 2015 for a boys home that church has connections with here in Indiana (JH). They were completed July 20, 2015.
I helped the girls all along the way, but the girls worked hard on this project and had a wonderful attitude to help others. I am privileged to be allowed to "lead" these girls as they learn sewing skills, how to work together as a team, how to trust the Lord for supplies, and how to have a sharing attitude.
